Dough figurines with minority ethnic features

Several vivid and lifelike dough figurines with minority ethnic
characters in Xinjiang were quite eye-catching at a hand-made dough
figurine shop in Urumchi on Apr. 5. The time-honored Chinese dough
figurine art features historical celebrities, flowers, birds, fishes and
insects, while Xinjiang's dough figurine artists melt local ethnic
customs into the creation of dough figurines, winning popularity among
tourists from other regions.
