With a new round of attack by the "fall tiger" (the temperature remains
high for a short period after the solar term "autumn begins" in Chinese
lunar calendar) around the country, Jiuzhaigou, a scenic spot in Sichuan,
was packed with tourists on Aug. 15, 2005. A large number of domestic and
foreign tourists came to enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and
waters, making the peak of "trips to summer resort." As Jiuzhaigou
located in Nanping County, Aba Tibetan Qiang Autonomous Prefecture has an
altitude between 2,000 to 3,000 meters, its highest temperature in summer
is about 19 to 22 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is regarded as a perfect
summer resort.
