A long-living dragon seat carved from a complete piece of wood quoting
600,000 yuan (USD 74,000) was on display at the International Tourists
Commodities Expo 2005 Shenyang China on Aug. 21, 2005. This dragon seat
was from Tongliao in northeast China's Jilin Province. Eight master
sculptors spent two hours a day on this dragon seat and completed it in
one year's time. The seat was made from a piece of elm timber with a
maximum diameter of 160cm (5.25ft).
