The first eating seafood competition was held on the seafood street of
Jiangsu's Lianyuangang City, on August 10, with more than 50 male and
female people participating. At the eating squilla competition,
participants exposed various table manners disregarding numerous stings
and hard shells of the squilla. A male participant who ate up 18 squillas
in six minutes with intact shell left was crowned the champion.
