Performers in ancient costume welcome the guests after the bridge lowered
at an ancient city gate opening ceremony held in Xi'an's Ancient City
Wall Scenic Spot on Aug. 25, 2005. Based on the historical story of the
southern city gate of China's ancient city, the scenic spot reproduced
the ancient city gate opening ceremony that used to happen every day in
the ancient capital Chang'an of the Tang Dynasty (618AD-907AD).
