Another "dead sea" in Shandong

Nearly 100 Chinese and foreign tourists were participating in the first
floating competition at the unsinkable lake on the salt marsh near the
mouth of the Yellow River on Aug. 14, 2005. Contestants would be judged
according to their collective poses and how long they remain still on the
lake. An Indonesian contestant was crowned champion for keeping still for
over 30 minutes. People can lie on the unsinkable lake and read books
without the least worry of sinking. The lake can be said as another "dead
sea" in the world.
