Tianjin's Binhai New Area

www.chinanews.cn 2006-04-13 17:06:45

Listed in China's "11th Five-Year Plan" (2006-2010), Tianjin Binhai New
Area (TBH) will hopefully follow Shenzhen and Shanghai Pudong New Area
and become the third growth pole to boost China's economic development in
the upcoming two decades of strategic opportunity period. It will strive
to turn into a modernized new area that relies on the
Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, serves the circum-Bohai Bay region,
radiates to northeast, north and northwest China, and faces Northeast
Asia. Pictured: the huge development planning sketch of TBH attracted
numerous visitors.
