After a heavy snow, officers and soldiers stationed in Heilongjiang's
Qiqihar City were busy clearing snow in streets and became a main force
for snow clearing on March 11. Qiqihar witnessed a heavy snow and strong
wind on March 10, with the maximum Beaufort wind scale reaching 8. The
heavy snow and strong wind lasted till early next morning. The local
weather authority released a yellow early warning against snow disasters.
