Gezhou Dam releases floodwater

The worst flood in the upper stream of Changjiang River in this summer
gushed through Hubei's Yichang at a speed of 47,700 cubic meters per
second on July 11, 2005. Gezhou Dam opened the flood gate to release
floodwater. Photo shows the grand view of Gezhou Dam opening the flood
