People took a walk in Qiqihar's Longsha Park on July 20, 2005. The park,
established in 1897, covers 64 hectares. The local government invested 6
million yuan (USD 725,500) this year and rebuilt some parts of the park
in more than two months. Reconstruction covers green belts, the ground
and ancient buildings. After the repair work, the century-old park takes
a new look with wider avenues and more beautiful scenes, attracting more
and more visitors.
