Kung fu show in Nanjing

www.chinanews.cn 2005-07-11 13:37:42

A shopping mall at Nanjing's Xinjiekou, Jiangsu Province, invited some
students from a martial art school to stage a martial art performance on
the square, attracting many citizens to watch on July 9. In this
midsummer, vendors in Nanjing open "cool-enjoying night market" in order
to dispel high temperature's impact on sales. They organized large-scale
performances on square, children's art festivals and shopping festivals
and resorted to various means such as cash reimbursement to scramble for
business opportunities in summer, leaving no stone unturned to attract
customers.
