Tibetan carpets go global

In July, workers of a carpet factory in Tibet's Linzhi wove carpets and
cushions. At present, the factory's products, representing China's
traditional Tibetan carpets, are gaining popularity in the international
market. Tibetan carpets, along with Persian and Turkish carpets, are the
most well known in the world. With a history of over 600 years, Tibetan
carpets are exquisitely woven and durable. Their pattern designs bear
distinctive Tibetan flavors.
