Chinese and Russian teachers and students in Heilongjiang's Heihe College
held up picture posters about China-Russia friendship which were jointly
created by them and celebrated the launch of the Year of Russia
cheerfully on March 21. Heihe City faces Russia's Blagoveschensk City
across the river and the Heihe College has taken advantage of its
location and established a steady partnership with many Russian
universities like Amur State University and Blagoveschensk State
University of Educational Sciences. Such cooperation has helped improve
educational quality of both China and Russia, cultivate a large group of
high-caliber talents for the two countries and enhance friendship between
the peoples.
