Old man carved 108 Heroes of the Marshes

Jiang Changzhi, a 65-year old artist living in Sichuan's Luzhou City,
finished wooden figurines of the 108 Heroes of the Marshes on Apr. 2,
2006. The whole work is 10.8 meters in length, 1.08 meters in height and
made up of 28 cypress boards. With the main body featuring plane relief,
the work, decorated with intaglio and hollow-out carving, is completely
hand-made.
