Continuous heat sweeps Hunan

Hunan's Shaoyang has been having hot sunny days since early June. On the
afternoon of July 31, Shaoyang's meteorological office issued another
orange warning of high temperature. On Aug. 1, the city's highest
temperature fell to 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees Fahrenheit).

Such hot sunny weather is expected to continue, imposing serious threats
on the crops of the city.
