China's first flight to Baku

The crew from Xinjiang branch of China Southern Airline, who will
undertake the mission of the maiden flight from Urumchi to Baku, capital
of Azerbaijan, welcomed Chinese passengers heading for Baku at the engine
hatch on the evening of Mar. 7th. Opening of this airway will bridge a
gap in the air between Xinjiang and Europe and introduce more
international airways and international connecting flights. This will
facilitate trips of businesspeople and officials frequently flying
between China and Europe.
