At about 6:30 a.m. on July 17th, more than 100 villagers of Xianhuangzhu
Village, Xianjiang Town, Ruian City, Zhejiang Province, moved a 4-ton
ancient wooden stage to a new location. Built during the reign of Emperor
Chongzhen of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the ancient stage is more than
300 years old now. As a culture and entertainment center will be built on
the original site, the village decided to move the stage to the new
location 200 meters away.
