Folk artists were performing the lion dance called "lions jumping onto
poles" at Luoyang's folk temple fair on Apr. 11. Such a lion dance in
Luoyang's Baimasi Town was initiated 300 years ago and had not been seen
for many years. It features unique dance gait, difficult techniques and
high risks and can be honored as a stunt of lion dances.
