Chinanews, July 19 - New Weekly and sina.com.cn rely on online votes to
publish "China's wish list".
72.68% of people do not hesitate to put "make more money" as their
greatest wish. There is a Chinese saying, "Money makes the ghost turn the
wheel". Most Chinese keep a mysterious and low profile on their income.
Family income are like women's age, always a secret - the only thing one
can be sure is, for one the desire is for more (money), for the other the
desire is for less (years).
Other items that got on the wish list include: travel around the world
65.12%; China being number one 54.09%; buying a fancy car 48.50%; living
in a mansion 48.27%; well-read 45.23%; friends all over the world 44.39%;
being the boss 37.03%; hit the jackpot 26.85%; luck in love 25.67%.
