Miao people celebrated "roll drum festival"

People from Miao ethnic group, dressed in traditional costumes, blow
bubbles attend a party celebrating the once-a-year "roll drum festival"
in Kaili, Southwest China's Guizhou Province March 12, 2006. The "drum
festival" is one of the grandest galas of native Miao people. It falls in
the second month of Miao calendar every year and lasts for two days.
During the festival, local villagers form "roll drum" teams, drumming and
dancing to pray for good weather and a bumper harvest.
