Hakka "Yi Ming Yei" Ceremony opened in Taipei

The Hakka "Yi Ming Yei" (Lord of the Righteousness) Ceremony was held in
front of and in the hall of the Taipei Municipal Government on August 7,
2005. The innovative "sacred pig" became the limelight. As this ceremony
does not encourage killing pigs as oblation, pigs were replaced with
environment-friendly, innovative "sacred pigs".
The Hakka "Yi Ming Yei" (Lord of the Righteousness) Ceremony was held in
front of and in the hall of the Taipei Municipal Government on August 7,
2005. A three-storey high and 12-meter wide lantern wall was set up
before the government. Two characters "Yi Ming" were inlaid amongst red
lanterns which can often be seen in temple fairs.
