Wastes become spring fashions

Residents from a community created spring fashions with domestic wastes
like plastic bags and disposable paper cups and showcased them to the
public on March 22 at Fangzhuang Sports Park in Beijing, in an effort to
advocate resource conservation and environmental protection. More than
300 residents living in the community received appliances for and books
about resource conservation from the government on that day.
