Picture cluster on aerolite rock discovered

A large picture cluster on aerolite rock was discovered in the east of
Tianshan Mountain at an altitude of 2,165 meters, 236 kilometers away
from Xinjiang's Turpan City on July 27, 2005. This picture cluster on
aerolite rock consists of over 500 big and small aerolites exposed on the
surface of the ground and the biggest ones are over two meters in length,
width and height. According to relevant geological and mineral
departments, the picture cluster on aerolite rock discovered in
Xinjiang's Turpan for the first time is one of the oldest picture
clusters on the rock with significant value in terms of research on
nationality integration development history in Xinjiang.
