British Museum's collection shown in China

Chinanews, March 16 - A 2.5-month exhibition tour "Treasures of the
World's Cultures - the British Museum after 250 years" will open at the
Capital Museum in Beijing on March 18.
This exhibition will showcase 272 groups of cultural relics preserved by
the British Museum, with special emphasis on selected artworks of the
ancient Egyptians, ancient Greeks and the Roman Times.
This is the first time that the British Museum brings a comprehensive
exhibition on the evolution of world civilization into China since its
establishment.
