Artillery training to eliminate hail

Fifty artillerists were busy with a cannon shooting training in
Shandong's Wudi County on Apr. 4. In order to prepare for the task of
eliminating hail and increasing rain fall, the county started to conduct
trainings on that day and organized collective trainings for 50
artillerists from 11 townships in the county. It is learnt that Wudi
suffers seriously from hail disaster and is stricken by hail every year.
Hence the county built a network that covers the whole county to
eliminate hail and increase rain fall artificially, in an effort to
prevent hail disasters.
