Symbol of Wutai Mountain took on a new look

The innovation project of Dabai Tower on the Wutai Mountain was completed
recently after over one year's work. This tower is situated in the tower
temple of Taihuai Town's central district and its full name is Sakyamuni
Buddha Dagoba. The tower is 65.4 meters in height and has been rebuilt in
every dynasty. According to Master Rukong, leader of the tower temple, it
took Shanxi's ancient architecture institute four years to draft the plan
for this innovation. After the researches conducted by relevant experts,
such innovation was commenced upon approval of Shanxi Cultural Relic
Bureau.
