The 30-member delegation of the New Party in Taiwan, headed by Chairman
Yok Mu-ming, arrives in Beijing Sunday morning. Chen Yunlin, director of
the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central
Committee greeted the delegation at the Beijing Capital International
Airport.
Beijing, July 10 - Chairman Yok Mu-ming and his New Party delegation have
arrived in Beijing Sunday morning for the last leg of their eight-day
mainland visit.
The party leader says his trip to Beijing is the most important stop of
the tour.
During their three-day stay in Beijing, the New Party delegation will
hold talks with Chinese Communist Party officials on how to improve
cross-Straits relations and promote further exchanges between the two
sides.
The delegation will also visit the Lugou Bridge and the Memorial Hall for
the anti-Japanese war of 1937-45.
