Making colorful sticky rice

Eating "colorful rice" is a traditional custom of Buyi ethnic group. As
Mar. 3rd on lunar calendar approaches, women of Buyi ethnic group can be
seen dyeing sticky rice by the brooks to Duoyi River in Yunnan's Luoping
in late March, 2006 and some of them make over 50kg of colorful rice. It
was learned that the dyes come from roots, leaves or flowers of plants.
