Largest anhydrite mine exploited in Asia

In the post doctorate working station of Anhui's Hengtai New Building
Material Co., Ltd., scientists were busy with experiments for developing
anhydrite products on Mar. 26th, 2006. It was learned that during the
period of the tenth five-year plan, geological departments proved that
Anhui's Hanshan County contains 5.8 billion tons of high-quality
anhydrite reserves, which is the largest in Asia.
