Designer of Mao uniform

Beijing Hongdu Group Corporation, a famous national fashion brand of
China, celebrated its 50th anniversary after relocating itself from
Shanghai to Beijing on March 21. Old and new friends from all social
sectors gathered in the Great Hall of the People to recall the 50-year
journey. Tian Atong (R), who designed the Mao uniform for Chairman Mao in
April 1957, also attended the ceremony. He is regarded as "father of Mao
uniform."
