Beijing cleaned its moat

Staff from Beijing river and lake administrative department were
undertaking a large-scale cleaning of the frozen rubbish and silt in the
Yongding Gate segment of the moat enclosing Beijing City on Feb. 26,
which would guarantee the water quality in the moat during the spring.
