Guizhou's Yinjiang Tujia and Miao Autonomous County were packed with
lanterns on Feb. 6, the ninth day of the Year of the Dog. On that day,
the county opened the Spring Festival lantern fair. January in the lunar
calendar is traditionally the time for these ethnic groups to celebrate
Spring Festival.
