A giant dragon lantern named "Golden dragon celebrating the Spring
Festival" was lit up in front of the Kaifeng Mansion of Judge Bao of the
Song Dynasty (960-1279AD) in Henan's Kaifeng City on the evening of Jan.
15. As the Chinese New Year is drawing near, grand lantern festivals were
held in famous tourist attractions such as Longting (dragon pavilion)
Park and Kaifeng Mansion, which added rich festive atmosphere to the
approaching Spring Festival.
