More than 2,000 migrant workers who had received vocational training left
Henan Province's Lankao County for large cities by train and coach on
Feb. 16. Lankao County has been improving the quality of its migrant
workers through intensified training in recent years. It sent 160,000
migrant workers to other regions in 2005, among whom 80,000 were sent out
under organization and 38,000 have their own skills. The country recorded
a revenue of over 500 million yuan (US$62 million) through export of
labor services.
