on Aug. 26. At the first Dawazi challenge sponsored by Xinjiang's Turpan,
Semaiti Aisan, nephew of "prince of upper air" Adili, threw down the
gauntlet to challenge over 20 Dawazi artists in Xinjiang. As the
seven-generation offspring of Dawazi family after Adili, Semaiti Aisan
set two Guinness world records including walking on the longest (1,004
meters) wire with headstand and walking on the wire at the greatest
inclination (25 degrees). He is also the first national record holder of
crossing the Great Wall by walking on the wire.
