China's famous tourist attraction Lijiang in Southwest China's Yunnan
Province opened the "Dongba Valley," which consumed a huge investment,
recently, attracting many tourists to come and experience the original
flavor of folk customs of minority ethnic groups here. At present, the
valley has built up houses of Naxi, Pumi and Lisu ethnic groups as well
as courtyards of Mosuo people. Pictured: a 65-year-old Naxi scholar was
teaching tourists to write Dongba language, the only live pictograph in
the world.
